Richard Roberts is a past Chair and Professor Emeritus of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin.  Trained as an attorney and family physician, Dr. Roberts provided comprehensive services as a family doctor in rural communities for more than 35 years.  He is a Past President of the World Organization of Family Doctors and American Academy of Family Physicians.  Professor Roberts focused his scholarship on health system reform, professional liability, quality improvement, patient safety, and primary care redesign. 、
